The Buffalo Rising Oscar Party @ Sample Restaurant promises to be the coolest place to watch this year's Academy Awards ceremony. Free champagne and hors d'oeuvres for all attendees. The menu is based on Wolfgang Puck's menu for the 2011 Governors Ball and will include:
- Artichoke crostini with tomato confit, shaved parmesan and arugula
- Proscuito wrapped asparagus with truffle aioli
- Mini burgers with smoked gouda sauce and homemade rolls
- Fennel crusted tilapia with a tomato, olive and bean salsa-lemon supreme
- Smoked salmon served on a crostini with chive crème fresh and cavier
Our Oscars prediction contest wil give you the chance to predict the winner of all the big categories and, if you're right, you'll win awesome prizes. Top prize is a brand new 19" flat panel television. A roaming photographer and red carpet will add to the glitz and glamour of the evening. Dress up if you're so inclined or dress Allentown cool.
